This page is intended to provide Criminal Justice Act Panel (CJA) attorneys, and other interested parties with information related to CJA criminal appointments. On this page you will find a copy of the CJA Plan approved for this district, CJA Panel Application, a copy of the CJA manual and forms relevant to CJA work, including new CJA worksheets, and a chart with applicable rates and statutory maximums, and instructions for FREE PACER access for CJA Panel attorneys.
New Services
New Automated Worksheets
EXCEL based worksheets will be included with all new appointment vouchers that are emailed to Panel attorneys when an appointment is accepted. We are asking that everyone please use these worksheets. They are very simple to use, and the math is done for you.
Drop in Workshop Days
Wednesday and Friday will be dedicated to answering questions about vouchers and voucher issues, and we will provide one on one instruction and assistance upon request. Panel attorneys can come to our Charlotte office, or set up a telephone conference on the designated days.
FDWNC will also be launching new training modules for the Panel. Stay tuned for further announcements.
